CONGRATULATION – ONE OF THE K8 COURSE STUDENTS SUCCESSFULLY EXPORTED VENEER FOR CHINA'S LEADING PLY WOOD MANUFACTURING COMPANY
Contrad Vietnam Joint Stock Company was established in 2019 in Hanoi and mainly deals in wood products such as veneer and plywood. Although the company has not been established for a long time, the director of the company is Mr. Nguyen Vu Toi who has nearly 20 years of experience in business in general and wood products in particular.
Although he has a stable customer base and relative market share in the domestic plywood industry, Mr. Toi still cherishes the intention of exporting the company's products to international customers.
Knowing that VietGo is a reputable company with 16 years of export promotion experience, so Mr. Toi decided to register for the K8 course (opening August 9, 2021) - VietGo's actual export training course was held only a few times a year and gather hundreds of Vietnamese enterprises to participate. In particular, K8 was the first course organized by VietGo online when both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City had been in social distancing due to the complicated epidemic situation, but still attractted nearly 250 large and small businesses to attend. . After attending the course, Mr. Toi has become more confident with his knowledge base to participate in export transactions. Due to his busy work schedule, he signed up for a consulting service package so VietGo's consultants would support him with sales proposal.
Thanks to all the knowledge of K8 course, when preparing all the documents and media files for the sales proposal, Mr. Toi provided the consultant fully with not only photos but also videos of the entire processes to make veneer , plywood and how to classify and evaluate products. In addition, he also knows very well the general situation of the plywood market in Vietnam, how Chinese traders go to buy veneer in Vietnam.
During the sales progress, one special thing about Mr. Toi that made the consultant very interested was that he always keeps in mind; each product he sells is not just a commodity but it is also the reputation of the company. He always pays attention to the quality control of products before delivering to customers.

Bringing confidence in product quality, the Consultant boldly offered Mr. Toi's plywood to a company in the top 3 leading plywood manufacturers in China.
When prposing the veneer sale, the consultant was prepared mentally that this would be a difficult deal because with the rich production experience of the Chinese partner company, the foreign customer must have had a very stable source of raw materials and If the highlight of Contrad Vietnam is not mentioned, it will be difficult to convince customers to expand that already stable source of input materials.
As expected, when talking with the customer, the customer frankly shared that he has been importing veneer from Brazil with the amount of more than 100 containers per month, so if the customer buys from Vietnam, the supplier needs to meet the requirements like the same quality and price as customers are buying from Brazil.
When Mr. Toi sent his quotation to the customer, he set a goal that he would try to win this order not only for profit but more importantly, to build a long-term cooperation relationship between Contrad Vietnam Company and the client's company.
In the process of negotiating this order, Mr. Toi also had certain concerns about the risks he would encounter, but after discussing with the Consultant, he and the Consultant found appropriate solutions to minimize the risk.
At first, customers had many concerns and doubts about the product quality of Mr. Toi's company. At that time, with his experience and knowledge equipped in the K8 Course, Mr. Toi sent to the client a lot of photos and videos with clear product quality. He used a hygrometer to measure the moisture content of products directly when his company's employees were packing. This made customers trust him and decide to order.

Unfortunately, right after signing the contract, the weather in the northern area was very bad; The rain lasted for many days, making it impossible for him to immediately deliver the goods to customers. The difficulty increased when the delivery area was blocked due to a few Covid-19 cases, Mr. Toi had to immediately drive to another area during the weekend to find alternative supplies. With the determination to close the order along with the excellent ability to manage, in only 1-2 sunny days, Mr. Toi was able to deliver the goods on schedule to the customer.

This is the first export deal of Contrad Vietnam, although the quantity of the order was not large, it is still an encouraging initial achievement for Mr. Toi's efforts to enter the export path.
With enthusiastic preparation as well as carefulness in quality control of goods; VietGo believes that soonly, Contract Vietnam will have more contracts.
We hope that Contrad Vietnam company will go far and achieve more success in the field of export. VietGo believes that with Mr. Toi’s attitude and working spirit,he will definitely have his next order soon and thicken the file of loyal foreign customers; just like his motto: “I will do my best for any order like the first order to clients.”
