🔍 Detailed Technical Breakdown – What Makes Our Core Plywood Different?
Unlike standard panels, our core plywood (also known as unfaced plywood) is intentionally manufactured without a face veneer.
Why? Because it’s designed for buyers who want to apply their own decorative face – such as melamine, okoume, gurjan, or custom print overlays.

📏 Oversized Sheets for Post-Lamination Cutting
Our unfaced plywood is not trimmed to the usual 1220x2440mm size. Instead, we provide:
1250x2460mm
1300x2500mm
➡️ This gives you extra margin after face lamination — ensuring perfect, square-cut final panels with clean edges.
🧱 Core Composition: Full White & Stable
All panels use a full white core, made from:
Styrax (light hardwood)
Hopea odorata (Bồ Đề)
Eucalyptus or Mỡ (native to Vietnam)
These species offer:
Smooth jointing
Low density for ease of lamination
Bright color – no dark patches showing through light face veneers
🔧 Optional Core Processing
Depending on your needs, we offer:

🪵 Knife-jointed / Stitched core
🪵 Sanded or unsanded edges
👉 Many factories in India prefer sanded joint cores with open edges so they can trim to size after press.
🧪 Glue Customization – 5%, 10%, 15%
Unlike typical plywood, core plywood needs strong bonding to withstand hot press lamination.
We allow buyers to choose:
Melamine glue or Phenolic glue
With 5%, 10%, or 15% resin content
This level of flexibility helps your factory meet internal QC and certification requirements without risk of de-lamination.
🎨 Optional Anti-Bleed Coating
Some buyers request a light glue roll on the surface — especially when using thin white face veneers.
This option prevents:
Yellow glue patches showing through
Uneven absorption during face pressing
It’s 100% optional — just let us know during the PI stage.
